DÎSA-DER The reason of the arrests is the intolerance against Kurdish Language

	VAN- DÎSA-DER administrators reacting to the arrest of their co-chair and educators, said the operation clearly reflects the intolerance against the Kurdish language and added that they will continue their work.

	 

	Language Culture and Arts Research Association (DÎSA-DER)  Co chair and educators were taken under custody in scope of an operation on November 24, the day celebrated as Teachers’ Day and was arrested afterwards. DÎSA-DER administrators reacted to the arrests and told that they will continue the education no matter what.

	 

	Association administrator Sıddık Abi, who assessed the arrests as a move to silence the association fort he fact that the operaton took place just a week after its foundation, reminded that KURDİ-DER where they studied their language was shut down as well. Abi, who said that targeting their legitimate association can only mean that they are intolerant against Kurdish Language, said: “We will never give up and we will continue working. Kurdish language that have been existing from thousands of years will remain. There is no doubt about it.”
