Will the trustees infracting the rules be prosecuted?

	VAN- Edremit Mayor Co-chair Rojbin Sevil Çetin who was replaced by a trustee drew attention to the irregularities in Van Metropolitan Municipality that was revealed by the  commissioner of audits , asked: " Will the reports came out after the supervision be brought to Supreme  Court? Will the trustees infracted the rules be prosecuted?"

	The report  prepared by the commissioner of audits showed that the municipality sources that was supposed to have been spent on the people was apportioned between the AKP exponents and dissipated.

	 

	The report showed that the budget expenditure of the municipality in 2017 was approximately 95 million 372 thousand TL more than the budget revenue, and a large part of this budget deficit was financed by borrowing. Van Edremit District Municipality Co-chair Rojbin Sevil Cetin who was replaced by a trustee made some evaluations about the report.

	 

	Çetin said: "Trustees are the products of an invasive mindset that breaks the bond between the municipalities and the people it should actually be serving. We learned by the report of the commisioner of audit what was kept a secret.We expressed time and time again that the trustees are infracting the rules. The sources that belongs to the people , was't used for the people, they were used for the AKP exponents."
