Corrections officer tried to choke the child,  Prison administration confirmed the attack

	MARDİN- 5 Children detainees in Diyarbakır Youth Prison was battered by a guardian on November 1st. Guardian tried to choke one of the boys F.T (16).  While F.T who took a medical report and made a criminal complaint, the prison administration confirmed the attack.

	5 Children detainees were battered by the guardians in Diyarbakır Youth Prison on November 1 Kobané Day because they wanted to celebrate. The prisoner children have made a complaint to their relatives who were visiting. 

	 

	'HIS NECK WAS BRUISED'

	 

	Yekbun Y., who visited her brother in prison the other day commented on the incident. Yekbun Y. who drew attention to the fact that she could not recognise her brother on the day of the visit, said: " He was kept in Diyarbakır Type D Closed Prison before now. The other prisoners did not let anything happening to him. They took my brother and 5 other boys to this new campus for youth saying that they will be better in here. They wanted to celebrate the November 1 Kobané Day. A guardian came screaming and insulting. Then he assaulted them. He tried to choke the child called F.T. He still had bruises in his neck when I saw him. F.T was transferred here from Van. He was covered in bruises, the other boys saved him. They made a criminal complaint about the guard."
