Bomb attack on the General Directorate of Security in Ankara

	NEWS CENTER - A bomb attack was carried out on the General Directorate of Security in Ankara.

	 

	An explosion followed by gunshots rang out near Ankara Kızılay. Afterwards, there was ambulance activity. Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that there was a bomb attack on the General Directorate of Security.

	 

	STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTER

	 

	Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya made a statement about the explosion on his social media account. Yerlikaya stated that two people carried out a bomb attack in front of the entrance gate of the General Directorate of Security.

	 

	In the statement, it was stated that one person blew himself up and the other person died.

	 

	Yerlikaya also noted that 2 police officers were injured.
