Lausanne workshop started in Sulaymaniyah 2023-06-17 14:58:31   ISTANBUL - KNK's workshop titled "Kurds are knitting a solution with common life in the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne" started in Sulaymaniyah.   On the occasion of the centennial of the Treaty of Lausanne, which divided Kurdistan into four parts, a workshop titled "Kurds are knitting a solution with common life in the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Lausanne" is held at the Emnesureke Hall in Süleymaniye. A large number of politicians from all over Kurdistan attended the workshop led by the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK). The workshop started with a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in the struggle for democracy and freedom.   Two panels and a seminar will be held at the workshop, which will focus on the centennial of Lausanne and the future of the Kurds. In the first part, Prof. Dr. Şoreş Hesen, on “The Legal Dimensions of the Kurdish Question under the Lausanne Agreement”; prof. Dr. Kamuran Mentik, “A New Interpretation of Lausanne”; teacher Sitem Kamîl will make a presentation titled “Kurds a century after Lausanne, between opportunities and lack of a common strategy”.   In the second part, “The current and future political consequences of Lausanne” will be discussed. In this part, Kardo Muhammed, “National Strategy and Management Style”; Bilese Cebar Ferman, “Kurdish Politics After the 100th Anniversary of Lausanne”; Dr. Cawidan Kemal, on the other hand, will conduct a discussion on the "Kurdish Project in the 100th Anniversary of Lausanne and the Rojava Experience".
