
Prisoner Yahya Fidan released after 30 years

	DİYARBAKIR - Yahya Fidan, who was held in Diyarbakır High Security Prison No. 2, was released after 30 years.

	&nbsp;

	Yahya Fidan, who was detained and arrested in Amed(Diyarbakır) in 1993 at the age of 26 and sentenced to life imprisonment by the State Security Court (DGM), was released after 30 years. Having completed 30 years of his prison term, Fidan was released from Diyarbakır High Security Prison No. 2, where he was held in the morning.

	Fidan was greeted with applause and bells by family members gathered in front of the prison.

	&nbsp;

	Fidan was transferred to prisons in many cities, especially in Erzurum, Giresun and Ankara, against his will.
