Observers who opposed the block vote battered 2023-05-14 16:56:24     URFA/ADIYAMAN - Green Left Party and CHP observers who opposed the block vote in Kaniya Xezalan and Kolik were battered.   A group of 40-50 people who wanted to vote collectively in the rural Gündaş neighborhood of the Kaniya Xezalan (Akçakale) district of Riha(Urfa), poured boiling water on the CHP ballot box committee member. Allegedly, a group of 40-50 people who came to the ballot box set up in the Brothers Tomb in Gündaş Mahallesi in the morning wanted to cast a block vote. The CHP ballot box committee member, who opposed block voting, was attacked both physically and verbally by the crowd.   Ronahi Paydaş, a member of the Provincial Law Commission of the CHP Urfa Provincial Presidency, who went to the scene, said that they were also attacked. Pointing out that only one soldier was there when the large group attacked them, and one person was wearing a soldier's uniform, but he did not look like a soldier, Paydaş said: “Our ballot box officer friend was taken to Akçakale State Hospital. We kept a record that he was beaten. We will file a criminal complaint with the District Election Board regarding the issue."   The stakeholder said that the incoming group could not be prevented from voting block.
