
Police attack on people march to Taksim: 6 people detained

	ISTANBUL - Members of the Struggle Union Platform and İnşaat İş ve Enerji Sen, who marched to Taksim Square despite the ban, were attacked by the police. At least 6 people were detained in the attack.

	Members of the Union of Struggle Platform and the Confederation of Confederation of Workers' Unions (DİSK), İnşaat İş ve Enerji Sen, who wanted to go to İstanbul Taksim, were attacked by the police. Members of the Union of Struggle Platform marching from Elmadağ to Taksim shouted slogans such as "Factories, fields, political power, everything will be your labor", "May 1 area, Taksim Square", "Biji Yek Gulan(Long live May 1)". In the meantime, 2 people from the group, who were exposed to the police attack, were detained with police violence.

	İnşaat İş ve Enerji Sen wanted to march to Taksim Square from the same place. At least 4 people were detained in the police attack.
