3 police officers arrested in child torture investigation in Lice

	NEWS CENTER – Three of the 5 police officers detained in the investigation launched into the abduction and torture of 14-year-old Y.D. in Lice have been arrested.

	Five police officers, who were taken into custody as part of the investigation carried out regarding the abduction and torture of 14-year-old Y.D. in Lice district Amed(Diyarbakır) on March 21, were referred to arrest by the prosecutor's office on charges of "deprivation of liberty and deliberate injury". The Lice Criminal Judgeship of Peace issued an arrest warrant for police officers İsmail Akkuş, Emre Özcan and Gökhan Bay on the charge of "deliberate injury". The other two policemen were released.
