Only building not affected by the earthquake

	ISTANBUL- Sharing the photo of the TMMOB Provincial Representative, which was not destroyed in the earthquake, EMO Chairperson of the Board Mahir Ulutaş said: "As long as science and technology are used for the benefit of the public, it will be enough to build structures that will survive such a major earthquake."

	 

	The photograph of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (TMMOB) Provincial Representative, which survived two major earthquakes related to the earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude that occurred on February 6 and affected 10 provinces in the Pazarcık district of Maraş, became the agenda in the social media. While sharing the images of the old and new state of the building, Mahir Ulutaş, Chairperson of the Board of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO), said: ""As long as science and technology are used for the benefit of the public, it will be enough to build structures that will survive such a major earthquake."

	 

	While it was seen in the shared photo that all the buildings turned into a pile of debris, it was remarkable that only the TMMOB, the Provincial Representative Office remained standing. Ulutaş said: “The building in the image is the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Representative of the Chamber of Civil Engineers. No more words needed. As long as science and technology are used for the benefit of the public, it will be enough to build structures that will survive such a major earthquake."
