Forests set on fire in Kurdish cities during military operation 2023-01-05 11:25:00 NEWS CENTER - It was reported that forest areas were set on fire in the military operation in which thousands of soldiers participated in the rural areas of Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Muş and Batman.   A military operation was launched in the rural areas of Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Muş and Batman on December 24 with the participation of thousands of soldiers. In the operation, special units were deployed in the mountainous areas of the cities in question by helicopters, while special operations gendermerie were dispatched to some points with military vehicles. Helicopter and drone activity were seen in the region, while it was reported that there is artillery fire against some regions.   FORESTS WERE SET ON FIRE   It was stated that gunshots were heard in the operation area, and military units set fire to forests in the mountainous regions of rural neighborhoods between Kulp and Muş. It was stated that the fire, which was started at two different points, went out on its own a day later.    OPERATION CONTINUES   It was reported that the military operation launched in the mountainous regions of Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Muş and Batman was terminated at many points, but continued in some strategic areas.
