Damascus embargo kills a child 2023-01-04 14:15:41   NEWS CENTER - 4-year-old Wîsam Sîdo died in Aleppo's Şêxmeqsûd neighborhood due to the embargo of the Damascus government.   The government's embargo on the Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiye neighborhoods of Aleppo, where Kurds live in Syria, continues. Due to the embargo, electricity has been cut for days in both neighborhoods. There is a heating problem due to the lack of diesel fuel. In Şêxmeqsûd neighborhood, 4-year-old Wîsam Sîdo fell ill with cold due to lack of heating materials and died.   Wisam's mother, Erife İbrahim, spoke to ANHA about her child freezing. Mother İbrahim stated that her child did not have any serious illness, became seriously ill due to cold and later died. Stating that they took Wisam to Martyr Xalid Fecir Hospital after his fever, İbrahim said: "Wîsam's temperature was over 40 when we went to the hospital.
