It was shared that 16 prisoners held in Afyonkarahisar No. 1 Type T Closed Prison were subjected to torture because their wards were raided and they did not accept the standing count, and they will start a hunger strike tomorrow.   Prisoner Cumali Yıldırım spoke about the rights violations they were subjected to during the meeting he held with his family in prison today. Stating that a standing count was imposed, the guards were constantly trying to provoke them, their wards were raided yesterday and today, they were tortured and taken out, Yıldırım said: "Last night and this morning, our wards were raided and our belongings were distributed. Our friend Turan Bilen was dragged on the ground. We were beaten and insulted. We responded to the situation with the slogan 'Human dignity will defeat torture.'
