Travel ban for journalist Ağgöz, released from house arrest 2022-12-22 16:45:07   ANKARA - The house arrest given to journalist Zemo Ağgöz was lifted on the condition of a ban from travelling abroad upon the objection of her lawyers.   The house arrest given to Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Zemo Ağgöz, who was detained on October 25 along with 11 journalists as part of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been lifted. MA Editor-in-Chief Diren Yurtsever, MA reporters Selman Güzelyüz, Zemo Ağgöz, Berivan Altan, Deniz Nazlım, Hakan Yalçın, Emrullah Acar and Ceylan Şahinli, and JINNEWS reporters Habibe Eren and Öznur Değer  who were arrested on the grounds of their professional activities were detained together with Ağgöz. Ağgöz was later released with the condition of house arrest.   Upon the application of lawyers, Ağgöz's house arrest was lifted and a ban was imposed on her from travelling abroad.   After the decision, the ankle monitor was removed.
