Rally against isolation in Limassol 2022-12-10 09:17:07   NEWS CENTER – At the rally in Limassol with the call of the Kurdish People's Assembly of Cyprus and the Kurdish Women's Initiative, the CPT was called to do its duty. In the city of Limassol, Cyprus, the people of Kurdistan and their friends held a rally for PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has not been heard from for 20 months upon the call of the Kurdish People's Assembly of Cyprus and the Kurdish Women's Initiative. The crowd gathered in front of the Municipality of Limassol, carrying banners with Abdullah Öcalan's photographs and banners of PKK, HPG, YPG and YPJ, and hundreds of leaflets regarding the isolation were distributed. The rally started with a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives, followed by the slogans "Bijî Serok Apo(Long live Abdullah Öcalan)", "Bê Serok jiyan nabe(There is no life without Öcalan)", "A thousand greetings to İmralı". Kurdish politician Kamil Akalın also gave a speech at the rally, stating that the Kurdish people, who were worried about Abdullah Öcalan's health, safety and life, were in the areas and called the CPT to duty immediately.
