Euphrates Region Co-chair: AKP is attacking to get rid of the crisis 2022-11-20 12:20:23   RIHA - Euphrates Region Autonomous Administration Council Co-chair Mihemed Şahin said that AKP attacked Northern and Eastern Syria to get rid of the crisis inside.   Turkish warplanes bombed the surrounding of Kandil Mountain in the Federated Kurdistan Region and the cities of Northern and Eastern Syria at night. Attacks targeting Syrian soldiers are still continuing. Mihemed Şahin, Co-chairman of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Euphrates Region, evaluated the attacks.   'TURKEY WANTS TO GET  RID OF THE CRISIS WITH THE ATTACKS'   Noting that the Kobanê center was targeted 3 times, Şahin said: "Turkey has had a plan to attack Northern and Eastern Syria for a long time. The attack in Istanbul Taksim was intended to be attributed to Northern and Eastern Syria. Turkey prepared the ground for these attacks. Turkey has recently increased its threats and attacked last night as well. Such attacks are not new to us. Similar attacks are made daily. The AKP is experiencing a crisis inside and outside because of its wrong policy. It is experiencing an economic and political crisis. It wants to get rid of this crisis with the attacks. That's why it sees the democratic administration as a threat to itself. That's why it is attacking Northern and Eastern Syria, especially Kobanê. The attacks are not new but in Istanbul, which we think is an attack carried out by Turkish intelligence, the ground was prepared for these attacks."   'ATTACK TO THE VALUE AND WILLPOWER'   Calling on the coalition forces that remained silent about the attacks, Şahin said: "Russia and America are responsible for the security of this region. The Russian and Damascus government should also stand against these attacks. America should also stand against these attacks by fulfilling its own responsibility politically and militarily. They want to destroy the values and willpower obtained with the martyrs with such attacks, We will protect these values by responding to the attacks with a historical responsibility."
