Değer, who turned 18 a month after her arrest, was imprisoned for 4 years for "membership in a terrorist organization".   Değer, who was released from prison in 2019, started her dream career at JINNEWS. Değer, who made signed important reports in a short time in JINNEWS, was arrested 6 years later on the grounds of her notes in her notebook.   Detained in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin on October 25 as part of the Ankara-based investigation, Değer was charged with the reports she wrote and shared on social media and her travels as part of her journalistic activities.   SECOND INVESTIGATION TO THE AWARD SHE RECIEVED   Değer received an award on behalf of Güler Yıldız, who could not attend the ceremony because she was in the Netherlands, at the "6th Emre Madran Press Awards in the Conservation Area" organized by the Ankara Branch of the Chamber of Architects. An investigation was launched against Değer on the grounds of the same event she had attended before, and her statement was taken. Although the investigation continues, she faced the same charge yet again.   SHE WAS QUESTIONED ABOUT HER TRAVELLING EXPENSES   Within the scope of the investigation, 67 trip she made within the scope of her journalism activities were brought against her as accusations. It was also noteworthy that, during the prosecution's interrogation, Değer was asked how the expenses of her trips were covered.   Değer said, "As a female journalist, these are the reports I wrote and posts I shared on social media to make women's voices heard."   WHO INSTRUCTED YOU?   It was also the subject of accusation that Değer shared the report about the murder of 7 members of the Dedeoğulları family as a result of a racist attack in the Meram district of Konya, on her social media account. Değer was questioned about why she wrote that it was revealed that the nephews of the Dedeoğulları family who were slaughtered were tortured by the police a day before. The prosecutor asked Değer from whom she got instructions to write that.   SHE EXPOSED THE COLLABORATION IN THE MASSACRE   After the racist massacre of the Dedeoğulları family, Değer revealed the cooperation between the police-perpetrators and the judiciary and wrote many important reports about the massacre. Değer continued to follow the developments about the Dedeoğulları massacre, which was the reason for her arrest, in Van, where she continued her professional activities. The file containing the minutes of the Dedeoğulları massacre case remained after the police raid, where the books and notes of Değer were confiscated.   MA / Özgür Paksoy
