Journalist Şahinli forced to see the doctor with handcuffs on her wrists 2022-11-03 11:08:02   ANKARA - MA reporter Ceylan Şahinli, who was arrested with 8 of her colleagues in Ankara, was not examined because she refused the imposition of handcuffs while the doctor examined her.   Diren Yurtsever, Editor-in-Chief of the Mezopotamya Agency (MA), reporters Berivan Altan, Deniz Nazlım, Ceylan Şahinli, Emrullah Acar, Selman Güzelyüz and Hakan Yalçın, and JINNEWS reporters Habibe Eren and Öznur Değer who was detained on October 25 as part of an investigation carried out in Ankara under police torture, were arrested on October 29 on the allegation of "membership in a terrorist organization".   MA reporter Ceylan Şahinli, who was arrested and taken to the Sincan Women's Prison, was taken to the hospital yesterday on suspicion of hepatitis B. Şahinli, whose handcuffs were not removed during the doctor's examination, refused to be treated.   Şahinli was taken back to the Sincan Women's Closed Prison without being treated.
