Journalists forced to bow their heads being detained 2022-10-25 14:07:24   NEWS CENTER - Ankara Police Department police tried to bow the heads of the journalists they had detained under torture.   Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, house raids carried out in 9 provinces, Mesopotamia Agency's (MA) Editor-in-Chief Diren Yurtsever, MA reporters Deniz Nazlım, Selman Güzelyüz, Zemo Ağgöz, Berivan Altan, Hakan Yalçın, Emrullah Acar and Ceylan Şahinli and JINNEWS reporters Habibe Eren and Öznur Değer, were detained. After the police aimed a gun at the journalists whose houses they raided, they forced thejournalists lay on the ground face down and handcuffed behind the back and sat on them. The police also insulted the journalists.    In a statement, the Ankara Police Department noted that journalists were detained on charges of "preparing news with content that incites the public to hatred and enmity". In the statement, the confiscated cameras, computer and books were cited as "organizational documents".   POLICE FORCED THE JOURNALISTS TO BOW THEIR HEADS   The police released a video of Berivan Altan and Deniz Nazlım being detained by the police. Police violence was reflected in the videos published by the police. The police wanted to "subdue" the journalists they had detained handcuffing them behind the back. JThe journalists resisted the detention. In the video it is clearly seen that Berivan Altan is hurled into the police car.
