Cemile Karakaş, mother of Hemgin Karakaş, who is detained in Afyon Type T Prison, and Fince Akman, mother of Yakup Akman, who is held in Silivri No. 3 Type F Closed Prison, in a cell in Tekirdağ No. 2 Type F Prison. Kumri Akgül, elder sister of detained Erdal Özel, and Cemile Çiftçi, sister of seriously ill prisoner Selim Çiftçi in Ümraniye Type L Closed Prison. Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Istanbul MP Züleyha Gülüm also supported the families. THEY ARE DETAINED Blocking the relatives of the prisoners, the police detained Kumri Akgül, Fince Akman, Cemile Çiftçi and Cemile Karakaş with back handcuffs without allowing them to make a statement. It was learned that the relatives of the prisoners were taken to Haseki Training and Research Hospital for a health check before being taken to the police station. Reacting to the situation, HDP Istanbul MP Züleyha Gülüm drew attention to the fact that those who said "Ill prisoners should not die" were detained in order not to let them speak.
