Journalists Babat and Arslan detained following Akarsel's funeral ceremony

	NEWS CENTER – Following the funeral ceremony of Nagihan Akarsel, Journalists Dilan Babat and Fırat Can Arslan were detained.

	 

	The body of Jineology Research Center member, journalist and writer Nagihan Akarsel, who was murdered as a result of an armed attack in the city of Slemani in the Federated Kurdistan Region on October 4, is being laid to rest in the Gölyazı (Xelikan) village of Konya. Following the funeral, JINNEWS reporter Dilan Babat and Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporter Fırat Can Arslan were detained.
