	İZMİR - After the tension that arose after the court did not give the lawyers the right to speak at the Deniz Poyraz hearing, the court board left the hall.

	 

	The 5th hearing of the case against Onur Gencer, who launched an armed attack on the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir Provincial Organisation's provincial building and murdered Deniz Poyraz, has started at the İzmir 6th High Criminal Court. Deniz Poyraz's family also attended the hearing where the murderer Onur Gencer was brought. HDP Spokesperson Ebru Günay, HDP MPs Murat Çepni, Serpil Kemalbay, Oya Ersoy, CHP MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu, many bar association presidents and citizens are following the hearing.

	 

	LAWYERS WERE NOT GIVEN VOICE  

	 

	At the hearing, the court board announced an interim decision and demanded that the lawyers, who were assigned with a certificate of authorization other than the participating attorney, accepted that they were not a party to the file and that they should leave the area belonging to the lawyers. When the lawyers condemned the situation, the chairperson of the court said that he didn't need them to speak when there were noble lawyers and the lawyers should be left in the section  reserved for lawyers.” Özkan Yücel, President of the İzmir Bar Association, said: “We have been authorized with a certificate of authority. You can't tell us to sit in the audience section. We do not leave the section we are in. If you want to separate, you will find another method”. The chairperson of the court board said: “You have no right to speak. The interim decision is not open to discussion. We will not give lawyers the right to speak."

	 

	THE JURY LEFT THE HALL

	 

	Meanwhile, there was an argument between the security guards and the lawyers. Condemning the attitude of the court board, the audience called out to the president, "judge the murderer." There was a brawl in the hall. The jury left the hall.
