KNK Co-Chair Murad: Stepping up the Rojhilat resistance is a national responsibility 2022-10-11 11:01:42   NEWS CENTER - Stating that the Iranian regime could no longer prevent the serhildan (Uprising), KNK Co-Chair Zeyneb Murad said: "It is a national responsibility to protect the resistance against Rojhilat."   The protests in Rojhilat and Iran, led by women, continue for Jîna Amin, who was tortured to death after being detained by the "morality police" on the grounds that her hair was seen in Tehran, Iran. The Iranian army could not get the protests under control and began to attack bases belonging to Kurdish parties in the Federated Kurdistan Region. Despite the attacks of the regime, the protests in Rojhilat continue to spread.   Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) Co-Chair Zeyneb Murad evaluated the resistance spreading in Iran and Rojhilat and the attacks of the regime.   ATTACK ON THE RESISTANCE   Stating that the Iranian regime could not tolerate popular resistance, Zeyneb Murad said: “Major demonstrations have been taking place in Iran and Rojhilat Kurdistan for 2 weeks. This rebellion in Iran started with the slogan 'Jin, jiyan, azadi' led by women. The Iranian state, which could no longer control and stop the resistance, attacked the districts of Bashur Kurdistan and its parties representing Rojhilat Kurdistan. Rojhilat bombed the bases of the Kurdistan parties and the borders of Sidekan and some districts were closed. The bombardment still continues. These attacks of the Iranian state, which are the same as the attacks of the Turkish state, display that there is an alliance or cooperation between the two occupying parties. This displays to us that the aim of all invading states is to end Kurds and Kurdistan. They aim to annihilate the Kurdish people and destroy their gains. However, it is unfortunate that this fact was not seen by the authorities of Bashur Kurdistan."   NATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY   Emphasizing that it is a national responsibility to step up the Rojhilat resistance, Murad said: "The Bashur government is silent against Turkey's attacks. At the same time, it has not displayed a serious attitude and a concrete condemnation against Iran. The people have condemned these attacks, but the government has not made any objections so far. The enemy is attacking Kurds indiscriminately.  Therefore, the Kurdish people, political forces, institutions and Kurdish authorities must see this reality and fulfill their responsibilities. It is the responsibility of every Kurdish person to support and protect the resistance of Rojhilat. Therefore, we especially call on Rojhilat Kurdistan to step up the resistance with a national spirit."   SILENCE OF THE WORLD ENCOURAGES TURKEY   Condemning the KDP's blocking of Turkey's research attempts on the use of chemical weapons in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn, Murad said: “Turkey is committing crimes against humanity in front of the world. Turkey uses banned weapons in front of the world. Both the South Kurdistan government and the world are silent, national institutions are silent. Western countries act in their own interests. The Southern Kurdistan government is not content with just being silent, it also displays to be prevented delegations that want to conduct research in the region. This displays that they are partners with the Turkish state in the use of chemicals. The Kurdish people have friends in the world. We need to partner with these people. It is our call to all our people, especially the people of Behdînan; We know they are under pressure, but we must not remain silent in the face of this immorality. People are not only displaced their land, but also every living thing is destroyed in these regions. That's why we should all be united against the use of chemical weapons. It is a national stance and responsibility to hold accountable those who prevent this from being investigated.”
