Emine Şenyaşar: I will not leave here until justice is done 2022-09-02 12:54:05   URFA – Continuing the sit-in demonstration on the 543rd day, Emine Şenyaşar said: "We will not get up from here until justice is done. I will not get up before my son is released."   The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 543. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and her son arrived in front of the courthouse for a sit-in early in the morning.   'IF I DIE, I WILL DIE HERE'   Demanding justice once again during the sit-in, Emine Şenyaşar said: “What judges and prosecutors are doing is injustice. We do not give up to seek justice. It's enough, they should release my son, Fadıl. Fadıl is held in a cell. Fadıl has a daughter who grew up without seeing him. My two sons were killed. They killed my sons. I want justice. I want justice for everyone, not just for myself. All those innocently imprisoned should be released. We have been persecuted here for 543 days. Whatever they do to us, we will not leave until justice is done. I'm not leaving here until my son arrives. If I'm going to die, I will die in front of the courthouse until justice is done.”   JUSTICE EXHIBITION ON ITS 2nd DAY   The "Justice Exhibition" opened by the family in the area called "Şenyaşar family justice corner", which is located in front of the courthouse yesterday, continues on its second day due to September 1, World Peace Day and the opening day of the new judicial year.   In the exhibition, photographs taken during the sit-in, photos about Emine Şenyaşar and justice, and the photograph of the ambulance where the injured were attacked on June 14, 2018 are exhibited. People and lawyers who pass by the courthouse visit the “Justice Exhibition” and get information from the family about the injustice they have been subjected to.
