At least 15 dead, 350 injured in Iraq 2022-08-30 12:56:33   NEWS CENTER- At least 15 people died and 350 people injured in the protests that started after Mukteda es-Sadr's decision to quit politics in Iraq.   After Mukteda es-Sadr, who is leader of Sadr Movement, decided to quit politics, the supporters of the Sadr Movement raided the Council of Ministers and the Presidential Palace within the borders of the Green Zone in Baghdad. Clashes broke out between the security forces and the supporters of Sadr. Due to increasing events, a curfew was declared in the country.   AT LEAST 15 DEAD   After the curfew, the armed members of Seraya es-Selam, the military wing of Sadr Movement, went out on the street. In the clashes, in which heavy weapons were also used, at least 15 people have lost their lives and 350 people have been injured.   SADR IS ON HUNGER STRIKE!   Mukteda es-Sadr declared a hunger strike due to breaking out of the events. Hasan al-Azari, who is one of the Sadr Group executives, made a statement on his social media account that he will continue his hunger strike until the violence and gunfire are over.
