80-year-old prisoner Makbule Özer taken to prison

	VAN - 80-year-old Makbule Özer, who is 53 percent disabled being held in Van Type T Prison, was taken to the hospital.

	 

	Makbule Özer (80), with a 53 percent disability, who was arrested on May 9 and with a prison sentence of 2 years and 1 month which was upheld by the local court for "aiding and abedding a terrorist organisation" in the Edremit district of Van, was taken to the hospital. Özer, whose health condition worsened in Van Type T Prison, was taken to Van Regional Training and Research Hospital.

	 

	Following the rejection of Özer's application for "execution of the sentence in the residence" by the Van Execution Judgeship and the Van 1st High Criminal Court, lawyer Dilan Kunt Ayan applied to the Constitutional Court for bill quia timet.
