The convict of N.Ç. case became an opinion leader 2022-07-26 13:01:09   MARDİN- Şehdavut D., who is one of the perpetrators of "N.Ç. case" which is a case about a child abused by dozens public officials, took part in an event of the Derik District Governor as an "opinion leader".   The videos consisting of some people using drugs and some girls and boys having sexual intercourse, were shared in whatsapp for a few months. The situation disturbed the people of the district. The residents of the district took action to prevent the drug dealers following the videos of girls and boys having sexual intercourse and using drugs. The residents made a statement addressing the authorities which should stop the drug dealers.   THE TRUSTEE ORGANIZED THE MEETING   Due to the statatement, it was stated that Derik District Governorship, the police chief of the district under Derik Municipality trustee, the gendarmerie, "Civil Society Organisations" and "opinion leader held a meeting. It was stated under the photographes shared on social media accounts that Derik District Governor/Municipal Mayor V. Evren Çakır District Gendarmerie Commander Mert Özbilek, District Police Chief Hasan Ali Korkmaz, opinion leaders, local authorities, NGO members and citizens held a meeting within the scope of the fight against addiction.     THE OPINION LEADER ŞEYHDAVUT   The fact that Şeyhdavut D, the perpetrator of the N.Ç case took place in the meeting as an opinion leader was in the photos, drew attention.   N.Ç CASE   A law suit was filed against 28 people including the district governor's editor in chief, a captain, a local authority and rangers who abused and raped a 13-year-old girl, upon the girls complaint. Within the scope of the trial, the defendants were sentenced to five years in prison which was a sentence that was given from the lower limit, while the sentences were reduced on the grounds of "consent". The 14th Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeals also upheld the local court's decision that "N.Ç was with the defendants with her consent". One of the defendants, Şeyhdavut D., was sentenced to 4 years, 10 months and 10 days in prison.   MA / Ahmet Kanbal
