
Attacks on Shehba Canton intensified

	NEWS CENTER - Turkey has intensified its attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria's Shehba Canton and Til Temir district.

	&nbsp;

	In line with the threats by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the bombardments against the villages of Shehba Canton and Til Temir district in Northern and Eastern Syria intensified. It has been reported that Turkey and the paramilitary Syrian National Army (SMO) groups under its auspices have bombarded the villages of Um Kêf and Dirdara, west of Til Temir, with howitzers and mortars since this morning. In the ongoing bombardment, the power plant in Um Kêf village, west of Til Temir, was destroyed. This power plant was meeting the electricity needs of Til Temir's center and its villages.

	It was reported that Turkey and the groups backed by Turkey simultaneously shelled Um Qura and Hesaçik villages of Shehba Canton. It was noted that the bombardment in the region continues.
