Turkey was protested in Afrin 2022-06-04 11:58:41   AFRÄ°N - Scores of people protesting the electricity price hikes set fire to energy buildings and many institutions.   Those who were settled in the city of occupied Afrin in North and East Syria by Turkey and groups backed by Turkey, took to the streets against the electricity price hikes. A large number of people who raided the Turkish electricity company STE Energy, located near the Kawa Junction, set the building on fire. The videos shared on social media shows that a large group of people raiding STE Energy, which belongs to Turkey and set the building on fire. The videos also show that the building called the 'City Council Building' was raided by a lage group of people. The raiders have kicked the doors down and wrote 'Afrin Population Directorate' on the walls in Turkish. It was seen that there were people wearing camouflage, holding Free Syrian Army flags.   The videos show that the people who took to the streets were shouting the slogan, 'Turkey, get out of Syria'. Following the demonstrations, Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and groups affiliated with it closed the enterences of the city. The TSK and the groups afilliated with it fired at the demonstrators. It was reported that scores of people were injured and a number of people have lost their lives.   The demonstrations continued until late last night.
