Rangers were sent to front dressed as 'shepherds' 2022-05-10 11:50:40 ŞIRNAK - Scores of people who were forced into being rangers as a result of the pressure of the AKP government were sent to Besta and Gabar, dressed as 'shepherds'. Turkey could not advance in the attacks against the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region despite the KDP cooperation and started to increase the number of rangers at the border line. It was learned that the AKP, which put pressure on the rangers through some tribes in Şırnak and its districts, trained the rangers to be deployed to the the gendarmerie commands and police stations at the border.   120 PEOPLE FORCED INTO BEING RANGERS   It was stated that 120 people were forced into being rangers and trained in the gendarmerie station as a result of pressure in the Dergûl District of Şırnak. It was reported that the people who were forced to be rangers were deployed to the border in the capacity of expert sergeants after the "training" process that lasted for 15 days.   It was learned that many people who were trained as guards in Dergûl were deployed to the front, dressed as "shepherds". It was stated that they were sent to Faraşîn, Besta, Gusî, Bawara Hince, Şexbekir, Çemêkarê, Mendicela, Alandeşt, Meydan Kolya and Kato highlands and they were assigned to provide intelligence.   It was also learned that the rangers deployed to Deriyê Spî, Deriyê Şilan, Deriyê Deştê, Çelêmazî, Kehniya Deştê, Şikefta Hevalan and Deriyê Bikat, placed camera traps.
