Arab Union: We reject Turkey's attacks

	NEWS CENTER- Condemning Turkey's attacks, Arab League Chairman Ahmed Abu Gayt said, "The attacks are a violation of the sovereignty of the international community as well as a violation of Iraqi sovereignty."

	 

	The President of the Arab League, Ahmed Abu Gayt, reacted to the operation launched by Turkey on the Federated Kurdistan Region on April 17.

	 

	Gayt stated that they reject Turkey's attacks on the territory of the Federated Kurdistan Region. Evaluating the attacks as a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and said, "The attacks are a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, as well as a violation of international sovereignty."

	 

	In a statement made today, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry also called on Turkey to officially withdraw all its military forces from Iraqi soil and respect Iraq's sovereignty.
