Mehmet Aslan, killed in Urfa, beaten postmortem 2022-03-18 14:31:12   NEWS CENTER - A video was leaked showing the dead body of Mehmet Aslan, who was killed within the scope of an operation carried out after two police officers were killed in Urfa, was being kicked by the police, postmortem.   Two police officers were injured when 42-year-old Mehmet Aslan who was stopped by the police in Urfa started firing at the police. Police officers Cemal Bozkurt (32) and Abdullah Yasir Binici (30) lost their lives at the hospital.   An operation was launched to capture Mehmet Aslan after the incident. Aslan was killed in the operation.   Minister of Interior announced Aslan was killed from his Twitter account. While the pro-government media claimed that Aslan was killed in an armed clash with the police, it was seen that Aslan was covered in bruises and his clothes were covered with dirt. There were people holding their guns around his dead body.   FOOTAGE OF ASLAN BEING BEATEN   It is seen that Mehmet Aslan, who was shot and lying on the ground at the time, is kicked around by the police officers in a video leaked to the social media.    'POLICE OFFICERS WERE IN PLAINCLOTHES'    Speaking at the funeral, family of Aslan said he had enemies and some unknown people shoot at their house a few days ago, and told that Aslan fired at the police because he thought they were the people who shot at his house because they were not wearing uniform.
