Justice Watch of Şenyaşar family enters day 311 2022-01-13 13:23:08   URFA -  Emine Şenyaşar, who continues her struggle for justice uninterruptedly despite her health problems, demanded the release of her son Fadıl Şenyaşar, who has been in solitary confinement for 3 years and 7 months.   Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, is on its 311st day. Coming from their house which is 42 kilometers away from the courthouse, Ferit Şenyaşar started the sit in for the day.   Emine Şenyaşar who could not attend the sit in due to her health problems, told that the sit in continues under oppression. Underlining that she will continue the sit in until her son in Elazığ Prison who is held in solitary confinement for 3 years and 7 months is releasred, Şenyaşar said: "This sit in continues for almost a year. My son is held in a prison unlawfully. Both the prosecutors and the judges know that. I want him to be released. I will continue this sit in until he is released even it takes 10 years. I will not go back home until my son comes back home. I am ill. I want to see my son released before I die. They killed three people in my family and arrested my son. What kind of a justice is this. Enough is enough."   Pointing out that she is constantly thinking about her son, Ferit Şenyaşar while she is not there, Emine Şenyaşar said: "I always think about Ferit when I can't attend the sit in due to my health problems. I call him all the time. I couldn't go to the court house for the last two days but I am here today. Release my son so that I can go back home. I am ill."   'THERE IS A DEAD SILENCE'   Şenyaşar family shared the following message from their Twitter account: "Why is there a dead silence in the parliament when they speak about us. Why is not one single AKP MP stand up and say that this is injustice?"
