Yeni's family learned the news of their child's death from the soldiers who called them on November 9. The family then applied to the Dicle Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the same day. The prosecutor did not take action on the grounds that it was “late”. The next day, the family, who made another application, was directed to the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The family learned that the only limbs remaining from their son are his fingers. The Prosecutor's Office did not release the remaining limbs of Yeni on the grounds that "the cause of death is not known". The family has been waiting for the release of their son's body to them, which was sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK).    INSULT FROM SOLDIER   Mother Menice Yeni, who wanted this torture to their family to end, said that the soldiers gave the news of her son's death to her 17-year-old son and said: "We killed your brother, come and take his body." Expressing that they wanted to have a DNA test done to see if the body was her son's, mother Yeni said that the prosecutor's office gave them the answer, "There is a fingerprint, there is no need for a DNA test."   POLICE CALLED THE FAMILY   Stating that after the news of his son's death, the police constantly called them and their relatives, Yeni told what happened: "Since then the police have been calling us and our relatives trying to persue us to join the protest in front of the HDP Diyarbakır building. They tell us that we can get to our sons and daughters in the mountains if we protest the HDP. They told us they are the police when we asked who they were. They are trying to influence us. They told me that the only limb left from my son is a hand. How can this happen? And it is not certain that the hand belongs to my son. All children there are our children, but why are they not doing a DNA test?"   'THEY ARE AFRAID OF OUR BONES'   Stating that they are grieving every day because they can't give their children a propal burial, Yeni said: "He died 3 months ago and we were informed only a month ago. You already killed him, what more do you want from his bones? Give me the bones of my son so that I can grieve him properly. They are afraid of us. Afraid of our children. Afraid of their bones."   SHE WAS CALLED TO PROTEST HDP   Mother Yeni also stated that a person who introduced herself as a police officer called her youngest son the other day and asked about another son of hers who joined the PKK. Yeni said the following about the phone call: "The asked my son about my other son's whereabouts. My youngest son says he doesn't know. Then the person on the phone says he'll give a number to him and he can find his brother if he calls that number. And he advices my youngest son to tell me to join the sit in in front of the HDP building." Condemning this attitude of the police, Yeni said: "I will fight for my son to the last drop of my blood."
