Stating that they were exposed to many arbitrary practices, Karakaş stated that this situation creates isolation within isolation. Expressing that the prison administration constantly changes the wards of the prisoners, Karakaş noted that the prisoners are put in rooms without any windows.   THEY DON'T LET US SEE THE SKY   Karakaş stated that the wire cage type cells were built to keep the prisoners in psychological isolation and said, “Many of our friends staying in these cells have been imprisoned for years and they are our friends who have faced many health issues during this detention period. Therefore, these types of cells, together with the problems we mentioned, not being able to see the sky gets them worse.   'WE HAVE NO LIFE SAFETY'   Stating that ill prisoners are not treated and their right to treatment is prevented, Karakaş told that they were subjected to various kinds of violations. Karakaş also stated that they were taken to the hospital with the same vehicle with prisoners from ISIS, Al-Qaeda FETO and similar groups, and said, “This situation is very open to provocation and puts our lives in danger."   400 PEOPLE USING THE SAME ELECTRIC SHAVER   Underlining that they do not have access to hygiene products and they are held in dirty cells and wards, and the food in the prison is insufficient and bad, Karakaş told that 400 prisoners had to use the same electric shaver despite the pandemic.   WEDGE WIRED CELLS   We want our friends who are held in wedge wired cells to be moved to other cells. We tried to talk to the prison administration and the prison prosecutor to solve these problems but they didn't listen. We applied loads of times to be able to watch the TBMM TV which is a state television but they did not open that channel for us. This situation is open to provocation and it is very arbitrary.   CALL FOR DEMANDS   Karakaş said: "We demand that the Parliamentary Human Rights Commission, human rights defenders, legal defenders and political party delegations to come to the prison to ensure that our legal and humanitarian demands are met."
