
Families of Kurdish refugees starts sit in in front of Tahran Embassy

	VAN- The families of 9 Kurdish refugees from Iran, whom Turkey handed over to the FSA 115 days ago, started a sit-in in front of the Tehran Embassy.

	&nbsp;

	Families of Mobin Veledbeygi, Mesud Hayderî, Bahman Shadruvan, Siyaveş Paksereşt, Afşar Rustemi, Bahmen Şadravan, Hidayet Ruxzadî, Said Ahmedi and Fardin Dervişpur who were detained in Istanbul on August 22 and handed over to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) after legally coming to Turkey from Pave city in Iran's Kermanshah province, started a sit-in in front of the Turkish Embassy in Tehran.

	TURKEY HAS PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IN THE SITUATION OF THE REFUGEES

	&nbsp;

	The families who went to the embassy was not allowed to see the embassy officials despite all their efforts. The families who later submit their petitions to the embassy police, started a sit in in front of the embassy. The families carrying a banner demanding the release of their family members and the photo of their family members, underlined that Turkey handed over their relatives to the FSA and has primary responsibility in their situation.

	THEY WEREN'T ALLOWED TO SEE THE AMBASSADOR

	&nbsp;

	Stating that no information has been given to the families yet, the spokesperson of the families, Raşin Rustemî, told that if their efforts today won't yield any results today, they will travel to Turkey and try to meet with the state officials there. Pointing out that the only demand of the families is the release of their family members, Rustemî said: "Someone needs to make an explanation to us. We haven't heard from our family members for the last 116 days. We want the states responsible for this situation to take a step in this regard. We also call on to the human's rights organisations and members of parliament in Turkey to solidarity."
