Application to Ministry of Justice for Öcalan: End this uncertainty

	İSTANBUL - An application was made to the Ministry of Justice, General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses and Human Rights Department to meet with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and prisoners Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş.

	 

	Asrın Law Office's lawyers have made new applications with a request for an "urgent meeting" with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and prisoners Ömer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş, who are held under heavy isolation conditions in İmralı High Security Type F Prison. After the Bursa Execution Judgeship, the lawyers applied separately to the Ministry of Justice, the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice and the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Justice.

	 

	REQUEST FOR CONTACT VISIT

	 

	The lawyers demanded "to end the uncertainty about the life and health of their clients created by the alarming conditions of imprisonment by establishing physical contact within the scope of the lawyer and family visit regulations. The lawyers also pointed out that they had not heard from Öcalan and their 3 other clients for 8 months, and that they had no information about their life and health conditions, detention conditions and legal situations. The lawyers also requested a contact visit.
