Kurdish politicians: The use of chemical weapons is a crime against humanity 2021-11-07 09:44:05   VAN- Kurdish politicians stated that the use of chemical weapons in Turkey's cross-border operations is a crime against humanity and that this is leading the country to collapse. Military operations launched by Turkey on April 23 against the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. It was stated that chemical weapons were used many times in areas such as Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna. Many organizations, organizations, intellectuals, writers, academics and politicians against Turkey's use of chemical weapons called on international institutions to conduct investigations in the region. Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Van Provincial Co-Chair Çetin Uyar and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van Provincial Co-Chair Fikret Doğan made assessments on the war policies and the use of chemical weapons.   BARZANI'S ATTITUDE    DBP Provincial Co-Chair Çetin Uyar reminded of the Garê operation and stated that the AKP suffered a great defeat. Stating that chemical weapons are used in Turkey's operations and that this is a crime against humanity, Uyar said, “The use of chemical weapons causes great harm to both people and nature. As the Kurds do not accept this situation, neither should the world public opinion. The attitudes of Mesrur Barzani and Nêçirvan Barzani trigger the war. They think of their own personal interests. It is obvious that they do not think about the Kurdish people. They should get their hands off the blood of the Kurds.”   WAR POLICIES    Saying that AKP-MHP continues military operations not for the sake of Turkey's survival, but for their own survival, Uyar noted that they are trying to keep themselves alive with the war policies carried out. Uyar said, “The AKP uses chemical weapons to get results from its war policies. While 80 million people are in financial trouble in Turkey today, Erdogan still insists on war. When they attack Kurds in this war, they use chemical weapons. They steal what they can steal with their family businesses, and they attack the Kurdish people with what they cannot steal."   THE CONNECTION OF WAR AND ISOLATİON    Emphasizing that the war policies carried out cannot be considered independently of the isolation policy pursued on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Uyar pointed out that the KDP is responsible for its special war policies towards the Kurds. Uyar said, “The Kurdish people paid a great price for the establishment of the Federated Kurdistan Region administration, but the KDP is acting together with the AKP. Everyone should know that the addressee for the end of this war is Mr. Öcalan. Again, everyone should know that they will not be able to bring the Kurds back to life by persistently using chemicals in the war.”   COUNTRY IS GOING TO COLLAPSE   Stating that the cross-border operations are leading the country to collapse, Doğan said, “The peoples living in this country have seen that this war is not in anyone's interest. We are against all forms of war and exploitation. The solution to the end of this war is also obvious. This country has experienced a peace process and we are all living witnesses of this. While doing this, the state officially determined its interlocutor. They want to further the war by deepening the isolation in Imrali. "This war and this collapse will not end until this isolation on Öcalan is lifted."
