PYD Co-Chair Hiso: Not sibling rivalry, but betrayal! 2021-09-06 11:11:23   NEWS CENTER - PYD Co-Chair Ayşe Hiso, who harshly criticized the KDP for the deaths of 7 members of the HPG, said that they do not see the policies of the KDP as a "sibling rivalry" and that it was clearly a "betrayal".    The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Ayşe Hiso, commented on the treacherous attack of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) forces on a group of 7 fighters of the Popular Defense Forces HPG, which led to their martyrdom, according to a statement published by the latter's media center, last Saturday.   The HPG's media center said in its statement, "The information we received indicates that a group of 7 fighters from Guerilla was surrounded and attacked in an ambush set by the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces in the Khalifan area when the group was trying to cross the Zab River."   In this context, Ayşe Hiso explained that "the history of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is repeating itself again, and the Turkish state has set its sights on the extermination of the Kurds at this stage. Its occupation of the city of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî and its support for ISIS mercenaries in their attack on the regions of north and east Syria and Shengal district, confirms its plan."   Hiso said: "Otherwise, the KDP was supposed to support the Guerilla forces in protecting the land of Başûr Kurdistan from the fierce attacks launched by the Turkish occupation, and the Guerilla forces have  liberated Shengal from the grip of ISIS mercenaries, posing threat to Erbil as well. In view of these events, the Kurds are wandering, if the KDP seeks to participate in Turkey's plan to exterminate the Kurds, or if it will be a tool in the hands of Turkey to achieve its desired goals."   Regarding the position of the Rojava Kurds regarding these policies, Ayşe Hiso told that they believed that the KDP would take a strict stance on the attacks of the Turkish occupation on Başûr Kurdistan, and strive to struggle for the Kurdish Cause.   While the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party, Ayşe Hiso, considered the recent policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party "betrayal of the Kurds, Hiso continued, "The recent arrests in addition to their attacks on the Guerilla Forces' points and fighters, prove their support of the occupation, in its path of treachery. Hiso told that the Rojava Kurds are striving to expose their cooperation with the historical enemy of the Kurds, "and we will not be a party that serves any forces or parties, but we will stand by the truth that is clearly visible," calling on "the whole" of our people in Kurdistan to support the Guerilla forces against  the attacks of the occupation and for the Kurds to adopt strict and rejecting stances on the policies pursued by the Kurdistan Democratic Party."
