Police attacks farmers, 2 imjured, 7 detained

	URFA - The farmers who protested the power cuts of the DEDAŞ in Akçakale was subjected to police intervention. Police used tear gas on the farmers.

	 

	Gendermerie attacked the protest of the farmers with water cannıns and tear gas. The farmers were protesting the power cuts of the  Dicle Electricity Distribution Company (DEDAS) in Akçakale district of Urfa. / people were detained and 2 people were injured as a result of the gendermerie intervention.

	 

	Despite the intervention, farmers continue their protest.
