Prosecutor's objection to the release of the journalists in Van rejected 2021-04-08 11:05:17   VAN - Prosecutor's objection to the release of the journalists who broke the story about two villagers thrown out of a military helicopter in Van was rejected by the court.   Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporters Cemil Uğur and Adnan Bilen, and Jinnews reporter Şehriban Abi and journalist Nazan Sala, who were arrested on October 9, 2020 after reporting the situation of two citizens who were tortured by soldiers who were thrown from a helicopter by the soldiers who went on military operation in Van was released by the court on the first hearing of the law suit filed against them.   Following the release of the journalists, the prosecutor objected to the decision of release at Van 6th High Criminal Court. The appeal was rejected by the court.
