Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar taken into custody 2021-03-30 12:27:33  URFA - Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been seeking justice for 22 days in front of the Urfa Courthouse, were taken into custody using force.   Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons when AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's relatives and bodyguards attacked them just before the June 24, 2018 elections, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack have been taken into custody on the 22nd day of the sit in.   'DON'T ARREST US, ARREST THE KILLERS'   Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar were detained all of a sudden while they were sitting in front of the court house. The reason why they were detained remains unknown. Mother Şeynayaşar shouted, 'Don't arrest us, arrest the killers' while she was dragged by the police.   Emine Şenyaşar was detained on March 9 for allegedly 'opposing the law on dmeonstrations' and on March 15 for 'insulting a public official'. Ferit Şenyaşar was detained by the police as a result of the complaint filed by Süleyman Yıldız, brother of AKP's Yıldız.   Making a statement from Twitter, Şenyaşar family said: "Our struggle for justice continues on its 22nd day in front of the court house. Chief Prosecutor walks by us every morning. He looks at us but he doesn't see us. Even though the Chief Prosecutor and the Minister of Justice ignores us, with our cry for justice, people are standing with us in solidarity all over Turkey and from other countries."
