Thousands lit the Newroz fire

	DİYARBAKIR - With hundreds of thousands of people filling the festival site in Diyarbakır, while starting the Newroz fire, HDP Diyarbakır MP Semra Güzel said: "Those who ignore Kurds should look at the crowd here. Kurds are resisting everywhere."

	 

	The celebration held in Diyarbakır with the slogan "Let's resist with the Newroz fire, let's liberate ourselves" continues with people dancing the halay in the area filled with hundreds of thousands of people. The fire in Newroz square was also started by hundreds of thousands of people with the slogans "Biji serok Apo". Despite the police's warning from the stage and raising the voice of music, posters of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan were hung and slogans of "Bijî Serok Apo" are shouted. 

	 

	HDP Diyarbakır MP Semra Güzel and Kurdistan Communist Party (KKP) Chairman Sinan Çiftyürek are speaking at the stage.
