Targeted by Soylu, İHD Co-Chair detained in operation carried out in multiple cities 2021-03-19 10:41:11   ANKARA - İHD Co-Chair Öztürk Türkdoğan who was targeted by Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu after the Garé operation, was detained in an operation carried out in multiple cities.   Human Rights Association (İHD) Co-Chair Öztürk Türkdoğan and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Ankara Women's Assembly Spokesperson Zeyno Bayramoğlu, Party Assembly (PM) member Ali Özkan, HDP Eskişehir Provincial Co-chair Şükriye Ercan, Hüseyin Gevher, Provincial Executive Board member Bedriye Irmak, Çankaya District Co-Chair Ramazan Karakoç, Mamak District Co-Chair Mustafa Uğur Akkaya, Mamak District Executive Board member Laleş Ekmen and Betül Koca were detained.   In a speech made at the parliament after the Garé operation, Süleyman Soylu targeted Human's Rights Association, defining the association as 'God damn association called the İHD'.   İSTANBUL    It was learned that 10 people, including the HDP's Beşiktaş and Kağıthane district co-chairs, were detained in the police raid organized within the scope of an investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. 10 people, including Beşiktaş HDP Co-Chair and Kağıthane HDP Co-Chair, were detained in raids on 15 different addresses in 4 districts.    ADANA    Within the scope of an investigation carried out by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, warrants were issued for the detention of 15 people who were previously involved in social events. The detained are accused of 'propagandizing a terrorist organization'. Those detained are detained with raids on their homes.   While no information has yet been obtained as to how many people have been detained, it has been learned that police broke down the doors of some of the detainees with rams.
