SDF: Turkey's operations pave the way for ISIS to gather its strength 2021-02-13 13:24:12 NEWS CENTER - Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) stated that Turkey's operations against the Federated Kurdistan and North Syria paves the way for ISIS to gather its strength again.   The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) General Command issued a written statement regarding the attacks of the invading Turkish state against the Media Defense Areas.   The SDF's statement said: "The occupying Turkish state launched attacks in North and East Kurdistan, and at the same state increased its attacks on South Kurdistan in Garê. These attacks on the border areas are not launched from Turkey but directly from within South Kurdistan.   These attacks of the Turkish state targeting all the Kurdish people in Rojava and South Kurdistan destabilize the entire region. They also weaken the fight against ISIS. In fact, these attacks prepare the ground for the strengthening of ISIS and affects the fight against ISIS negatively.”   The statement continued: “The unique struggle of the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region against ISIS, the enemy of humanity, continues unabated. The Turkish state's invasion attacks aim at taking away the gains of the Kurds, Arabs and other peoples of the region. That is why we see the attacks of the Turkish state against Garê as dangerous. However, our determined stance against ISIS terrorism and the Turkish state's invasion attacks will continue.   We call on the International Coalition and all relevant forces not to remain silent against these invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state."
