Message from Melek İpek who killed her husband in self- defence 2021-01-11 14:48:32 ANTALYA - Melek İpek who killed Ramazan İpek who was torturing her in self- defence sent a message from prison via her lawyer and thanked everyone who supported her. Melek İpek who killed her husband Ramazan İpek who was torturing her in self defence in the Döşemealtı district of Antalya, was arrested by the court even though she was wounded on January 9. Her attorney Ahmet Onaran who sopke to her in prison said he conveyed the health issues of his client to the prison administration.   Writing from Twitter, Onaran said: "She said that she misses her daughters a lot. She thanked for your support, your solidarity and your prayers and she knows that justice will be served and she will reunite with her daughteres. When I asked 'How are you doing in here', she said, "At least I am not beaten here". It shook me from the core."   'WE ARE FOLLOWING THE PROCESS'   Stating that they will appeal regarding her imprisonment, Onaran said: "“I believe that Melek will be freed as soon as possible when his file is read by more careful and attentive eyes during the appeal process. I want to thank all those lawyers who said they would follow the case voluntarily, those who gave voice to Melek from social media, to NGOs and those who concern themselves with the righteous struggle of Melek. Thank you."
