Police points gun at children in home raids 2020-11-13 16:01:58   DİYARBAKIR - While the number of detainees in Diyarbakır increased to 12, it was stated that during house raids, the police forced the citizens to lay on the floor and pointed their guns at children.   Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with the allegation of "affiliation with the PKK", 19 people were detained. 12 people were detained during the raid on 25 houses in Diyarbakır and 1 house in Kulp district within the scope of the investigation, while 7 people were not detained because they were not in their residences.   Among those detained in home raids are the dismissed Sur Municipality Co-mayor Cemal Özdemir and Sevgül Tekin, Osman Balta, Cevat İnan, Hayrettin Karayılan, Erdal Bayram and Hacı Karakuzu.   One of the citizens whose house was raided belongs to Hacı Karakuzu (45) in Bağlar district. The police who broke down the door with a ram and searched the house, forced Karakuzu's wife to lay on the floor face down and pointed their gun against their children. It was stated that Karakuzu was taken to Diyarbakır Security Directorate.   It was learned that the investigation was started upon the information allegedly obtained during the clash in the countryside of Yalimli (Xosor) Neighborhood, in Lice district of Diyarbakır on 3 October in which HPG member Müzeyyen Aydınlı lost her life.
