Attorneys of citizens thrown from helicopter applies to Constitutional Court 2020-11-04 10:15:29 VAN- Attorneys of Osman Şiban and Servet Turgut, who were thrown from a military helicopter after being detained by the soldiers who were carrying out an operation in the Çatak district of Van on September 11, applied to the Constitutional Court on the grounds that their freedom to seek legal remedies was restricted.   The confidentiality order on the file that was revealed with documents and proofs by our agency continues   VILLAGERS WERE HEARD AS WITNESSES   While detailed information about the file was not available it was learned that the villagers were appealed for their testimony. The villagers stated that Turgut and Şiban was perfectly fine when they were taken to the military helicopter and told about the events unfolded on the day in question.   Attorneys of Turgut, who lost his life as a result of the torture, and Şiban applied to the Constitutional Court on the grounds that their "freedom to seek legal remedies was restricted. In the application, the attorneys stated that although they were the complainant party, their freedom to seek legal remedies was restricted due to the confidentiality order on the investigation file.
