Number of people detained in Diyarbakır rises to 14 2020-09-30 17:05:26   DİYARBAKIR - 14 out of 17 people for whom warrants were issued for in scope of the DTK investigation in Diyarbakır, were detained.    Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued warrants for 17 people including journalists and politicians in scope of the investigation it launched against the DTK. Numerous houses were raided in scope of the investigation this morning. The 14 people detained are as follows:  Journalist Hakkı Boltan, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former Siirt MP Hatice Kocaman, HDP Diyarbakır Provincial Organization Executive Edip Binbir, HDP Sur Municipality Council member Ömer Filitoğlu, Democratic Islam Congress (DİK) members Mele (Imam) Naif Erdem and Mele Emin Ay, Civil Tutşi, a member of the Energy Industry and Mining Union (ESM) affiliated to the Confederation of Public Workers Unions (KESK), the dismissed Eğil Municipality Co-Mayor Gülistan Ensarioğlu, HDP former Provincial Organization executive Çiğdem Ekti and Mekiye Güzel. It was learned that the people who were taken into custody are held in the Provincial Security Directorate.
