No rocks in the area where Turgut was detained! 2020-09-30 09:23:30 VAN - As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that there were no rocks in the are where Turgut, who was thrown out of a chopper and has been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU), was detained. Servet Turgut, father of 7 was detained in the Çatak district of Van on September 11 and 2 days later he turned up at the ICU of Van District Training and Research Hospital. The fact that he was thrown out of a helicopter was documented with a medical report. Turgut has been fighting for life for 19 days now. The eyewitnesses told that there were no rocks to fell from where Turgut was detained, which refutes the statement of the Van Governorate, which told that Turgut fell off some rocks while fleeing from the gendermerie.   Van Governorate claimed that Turgut fell off the rocks while he disobeyed the stop warning of the gendermerie in the Çığlıca Village in Beytüşşebap, Şırnak, while he was being chased by soldiers who were on 'Lightning- 10 Norduz' operation, while the villagers told that both Turgut and Şiban were perfectly fine while they were detained by the soldiers.    The villagers told that Turgut was laying down besides straw bags while he was detained. A footage of the area was obtained and the fact that there are no rocks behind it drew attention.   His family who are prevented from visiting him are still waiting in front of the hospital.
